The tradition continues….

The tradition continues

We are so excited here at Pease & Curren!  We are making our last minute preparations for the ceremony, all of the biographies have been written, flights have been scheduled.  It is a historic time, our 100th anniversary and the 15th annual West Point Ring Melt.

Our thanks to the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) for making this the largest ever West Point Ring Melt at our Warwick, Rhode Island location.

Each year families/decendants of West Point graduates from long ago bring their loved ones West Point class rings for the purpose of incorporating the gold from the ring into the class rings of future graduates.  They view the actual melting of the gold into the bar that will be used.

We are especially honored this year to have in attendance Senator Jack Reed , a USMA graduate, a Major in the United States Army and a Ranking Member of the Committee on Armed Services.

Here are some highlights from last year’s melt.
